Almond Care makes shortlist in national awards

Almond Care is pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted in two categories of the LaingBuisson Awards.

The Nuneaton-based company is a finalist in the Homecare Provider category, whilst company founder Julia Senah is a finalist in the Entrepreneur category.

Almond Care is a specialist home care agency that provides complex care at home to adults and children with conditions such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), acquired brain injury (ABI), spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and other neurological conditions.

Julia Senah, Director of Almond Care said: “It’s such an honour to be shortlisted in these two categories of the prestigious LaingBuisson Awards and I’m looking forward to the awards evening when the winners will be revealed. After winning the Professional Services category of the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards earlier this year, I’m hopeful for more success.”

Justin Merritt, COO of LaingBuisson commented: “It is genuinely inspiring to read through the nominations received and to get a true taste of the excitement, energy and innovation which fuels our sector. It’s been a record year for entries, with incredibly high quality projects, individuals and organisations all hoping to secure a place on the finalist list.”

The awards will be presented at a gala dinner on 11 November at the London Lancaster Hotel.
